Current Employee - Engineering says"No true referencable customers. Private equity play with back against the wall. Constant search and churn to figure out how to make the company work. Leadership spends more time worrying about their egos than managing the company."
Former Employee - Engineer says"Micromanagement turning staff off their jobs Some of the lowest pay increases in Belfast Bonuses are a figment of management’s imagination"
Current Employee - Senior Software Engineer says"Very high staff turn over and low morale. Incompetent management with little or no grasp on technical matters. Too much micro management and fire fighting. Staff over worked, under paid and under appreciated. Total lack of focus and direction."
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"Bad management, Ok salary , No work culture"
Current Employee - Product Management says"Benefits continue to spiral down, which is to be expected with private equity. Overall morale also seems to be dwindling, as attempts to provide a 'sunny' view of the business seen by many as disingenuous."
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"Engineers repeatedly told they are collectively the best group in NI but not rewarded in a similar manner in terms of compensation. Told we are 'competitive' but better salaries can be found in most established software companies in Belfast at all levels and pay rises are few and far between Also any graduates or junior staff who join rarely stay longer than a year or two as the FinTech companies can offer much larger compensation for their services. Career progression is highly unlikely for more senior engineers - promotions are more likely to be given as an incentive to turn down a job offer than for excellence in your job. Management is very top heavy and the ratio of managers to engineers seems way too high. Work-life balance is generally not good and long hours/weekend work happens way too often."
Current Employee - Senior Software Engineer says"Extreme micromanagement Meticulous timebookings required No trust of developers No innovation Extra hours expected without pay No feedback loops Blame culture"
